Bad & Good news.

Alright, guys, I know I haven't been on or done anything in months, but I didn't forget about you.  My schedule has been extremely busy, and I never expected my life to be this way a few months ago.  But I do have a little more time now, and I need to address you guys on a couple things you need to know, but some of it won't make you jump up in down with excitement.  I'll start with the bad news.

A while back, I discovered a problem that might prevent us from making the video series.  You see, there is a company that makes music for movie trailers, game trailers, etc. and when I got the idea of the Moon Tree Chronicles two years ago, they allowed people to use their music for unprofessional/noncommercial usage (including YouTube videos like what we were planning).  I absolutely LOVE their music and I already had a theme song for the video series picked out about a year ago, as well as other songs to keep in mind for the soundtrack.  However, the rule has changed, and you can only use their music for professional purposes and pay for it.  So that means no music.  I do not know where to find music that would match the emotion we need in the video that's free to use.  And I don't know if you have ever watched a video with no music or voices, just subtitles, and enjoyed it, or not.
Even if we did have  the music, I'm not sure I'd ever have time for filming stages, or that we could even find enough actors who would be available to film all at the same time.  And it takes forever to edit and upload a video.  I don't have time anymore.

I absolutely hate getting an idea, getting excited/obsessed about it and doing all kinds of exotic things (like making a forum ...   ), and then eventually not being able to make that idea real.  It's happened a few times to me.  This time, though, I think we can still get close to my original goal.  It wouldn't be as professional, and more of simple entertainment, but I think it would still be fun and enjoyable.  Instead of videos, we make comic strips.  It would be a whole lot easier and take much less time.  I've read some pretty cool comics with screen shots of games, so if we write the story well enough, I think we can pull it off to have the same effect.  Besides, I can give screen shots more cool effects than I can video footage.

So hopefully we can get going again on the script (sorry, it's mostly my fault), and you don't mind the change.

I'll be here, eh, roughly 6.7 out of 10 days. As for the music & video things, i think even though the comic would be nice it would be really cool. I always have money and could buy the song off of iTunes an maybe shoot a few scenes? Let me know what you think AF.

It's not that you have to buy the song off iTunes, but you have to get special permission from the people who make the songs to use them, and they are really only going to grant permission to people who are using them professionally and who pay them extra. If you don't get permission, it's against copyright laws, so just buying the song won't work.
